What is the Hands-on Training?

Once the virtual reality training is complete, you will have real, hands on training and testing, with an overseer, to complete the program. The schedule is as follows:
  1. Day 1-5:  Finger and Hand Dexterity
    1. using a tape measure
    2. marking studs
    3. installing boxes
    4. running cables
    5. stapling cables
    6. stripping cable sheathing 
    7. looping
    8. connecting switches & receptacles
    9. installing pigtails
  2. Day 6-9: Drilling and Cables
    1. drilling holes with driver drill and impact drill
    2. mc cable  & connectors
    3. rotor splitter
    4. straight jaw pliers
    5. installing panel to switch to light
  3. Day 10 - 12:  Rough-in, Cut-in, Trim Out - 
    1. tin snips
    2. installation of panel to 3-way switch to light
  4. Day 13:
    1. power tools
  5. Day 14 - 15:
    1. bending conduit 
  6. Day 16 - 17: 
    1. rough-in
    2. cut-in
    3. trim out
    4. panel to switch to half hot
  7. Day 18: 
    1. trimming and torquing
    2. drywall saw
    3. stripping large wire
    4. allen key
    5. torque wrench
    6. torque screwdriver
  8. Day 19-20:
    1. rough-in
    2. cut-in
    3. trim out
    4. panel to GFCI to Duplex Receptacle
