Turn on Developer Mode on Your Meta Quest 2 Headset

The Meta Quest mobile app is used to enable Developer Mode on the headset. 

To Enable Developer Mode:

  1. Turn on your headset and ensure it is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your phone.

  2. Open the Meta Quest app on your phone, ensuring the headset and phone are both:

    1. signed in with the same verified developer account

    2. on the same Wi-Fi network.

  3. Tap the hamburger menu in the lower-right corner of the Meta Quest app.


      4. Select Devices.


      5. Verify your headset is displayed here.  

    • If you have multiple devices, tap the 3-dot Kebab menu in the top right and select Switch Devices.

    • If your headset is not displayed, verify it is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your phone and is turned on.

    • If it still does not display, install any updates and reboot the headset, then try again.

      6. Once your headset is selected, scroll down to Headset Settings and tap it.

      7. Select Developer Mode and then toggle the switch to the right to enable developer mode.

  1. On:
    1. color: blue
    2. position: right
            
  1. Off:
    1. color: grey 
    2. position: left
